RICH CENTRAL CAMPUS HIGH SCHOOL
So I have been praying this last week, going to 6 A.M. prayer , and fasting these last 3 days for my friends and for all the students at my school for See You at The Pole. And I can honestly say that God moved. 20 students, 5 staff members, my family and friends all showed up. The presence was so thick around that flag that students were bawling girls and boys and my non-Christian principal came to my dad trying to make an excuse to why his eyes were watery after I prophesied to him in the circle 😂 (he told me dad that the wind got in his eye) . I have been praying diligently and calling students out by name and tonight at church those kids I was praying for and so many others where crying at the alter and being filled with the Holy Spirit. God moved so strong that at the end of our afternoon announcements the principal got on the mic at the end and thanked everybody that came out and shared his appreciation about it, that is very rare because the announcements are student led and the principal never gets on the mic. Please continue to pray for the students or Rich central that what took place in there lives will not be reversed by the enemy !💕 I am so excited for what God has in store for my school.

We had decided to have the SYATP at 1:30 p.m. Just at that it started to pour like anything. But it was amazing that we gathered in a small gazebo next to the pole. Thunder and lightning were right upon us but we joined hands and prayed for our school, our community, our friends, families and nation. We closed with the song "Great are you Lord". Let God arise and let this prayer revival continue in every school and college campus

We had donuts for everyone and then gathered around the pole to begin. We started off by signing "O come to the alter" and we gave them lyrics and they sang with us!! It may not have been the best sounding as we did not have instruments, but the Spirit of God was there! I felt it! And as I began to pray I started choking up a bit because I could feel God's prescence! At the end, we announced when our P7 Bible club meets and we had 2 students that want to come to our P7 meetings! Throughout the rest of the day, I felt God's prescence with me. It's one thing to invite people to church, but it's another thing to bring Jesus to them! Jesus is not limited to a church building! I believe this is the beginning of something great and that God will use today's meeting to transform lives throughout this year. There were kids not involved in the circle, but who watched and I believe it planted a seed in their heart! I'm so thankful for our principles and teachers who showed up and took part and supported!!
Poetry Community Christian School
This week has been the hardest our small private Christian school has faced in its 17 years. This Monday, two of our Junior boys were driving off campus for lunch when they crossed the median on a turn, colliding with another vehicle. The passenger was killed instantly, and the other had to be taken to the hospital and placed in the ICU (and miraculously had no broken bones, and only a slightly lacerated liver/bruising/cuts). The other driver in the accident seems to be fine, as well - thank God. Needless to say, for a school with around 10 - 20 students per Upper School grade, we are all quite in shock and are grieving heavily. We decided it was best to continue on with school, although excusing Students/Juniors who could obviously not attend/participate in normal classes, along with making classes lenient. So, for See You At the Pole to be this Wednesday seems to be an act of God, for in it our school was able to unite as one and pray to the Father for healing and guidance, and commiserate on the loss of a dear friend. Not only was our student body at this See You At the Pole, but parents and pastors from our local area as well. Never has our school in that moment been so broken and humbled before God, and never before has our school been so united and close like it has been these last few days. Additionally, for the theme to be so aptly entitled "Broken" this year, again it can only be surmised to be an act of God. For indeed, we are broken in this time - in our hearts and minds and our sinful and grieving states. We needed See You at the Pole this year. Perhaps it wasn't for the usual reasons, but nonetheless, we as a school were able to pray for change and revival in our hearts, and to use this tragedy for good - to ignite a flame in our school never seen before, nor thought possible. And admittedly, this event took place in our school gym, not underneath a flagpole. But at the end of the day, the flagpole is just a place to rally. God is everywhere when we come to Him. We ask for those reading this to pray for us, and we thank those who sponsor/set up SYATP2018 for being in the right place in the right time to be used by God.

A week ago our school lost one of its students. A senior. A girl with dreams and a future. To an asthma attack at work one night. No one was sure abou the outcomes or how it would end up. She passed the next morning after being brain dead for a few hours. We honored her on the announcements and the football game this past Friday. This years syatp is themed broken. That’s how our school was after that. Broken. People who didn’t even know the girl including myself still supported the family. But this morning I could feel a peace I hadn’t felt recently. Among everyone. And that is what prayer does. Although we can’t go back and change what happened no matter how hard we pray. God can give us an overwhelming peace and understanding.

Great morning! Me and my friends not only pray around the flag pole on September 26. We do it every day of the school year!

For the past three years I've taken my daughter (who is now 8 yrs. old) to "SYATP". We've invited others, but we've been the only ones to show up. I explained to her that it didn't matter if people didn't join us and that we would be praying to God just the two of us. It's been something we've both looked forward to each year and an important lesson (I believe) it's teaching her. This year we brought my son as well and we had three other educators and another family join us. God is good !

(One family, 2 students plus one sibling and 2parents, 7 am is awkward as it’s more than an hour before school starts - I imagine there were more over at the high school)

So proud of my son being brave to stand alone at his school. Sometimes it starts with one.

SYATP this morning was awesome! I love seeing students step out in bold faith to pray for their peers and the faculty at their school. The students did a great job of encouraging their peers to attend their Claim Your Campus group that meets every Wednesday.

See You At The Pole was an amazing event that brought more students together in prayer than last year. We are excited to continue praying for our school through Claim Your Campus prayer groups and enjoy the CYC app.
